Mr. Amendt brings over twenty-five years of experience as a music educator and is currently an assistant band director at Mustang Public Schools.

He graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music Education.

Mr. Amendt performs in the Oklahoma City area with the Oklahoma Chamber Symphony, Oklahoma City Winds, and the Oklahoma City Horn Club.

Additionally, Mr. Amendt serves as the assistant director of music at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he conducts professional musicians for special performances and leads bell, chime, and vocal choirs for all age groups.
